U/17 and U/15
– Schools can decide how many teams, and how many players per team they want to bring. Each team/group may have a maximum of 25 players.
– If schools bring 2 teams/groups, they must please indicate whether the teams/groups are of equal strength or whether there is a strong group (A group) and a weaker group (B group).
– Each school can decide whether its teams play 1, 2 or 3 matches.
– You are allowed more than one team per age group.
– Selected amount of games will count towards each team. If you have 2 teams, and select 2 matches per team, there will be a total of 4 matches.
– Playing dates are 3,4,5,7 and 8 December 2026.
– You may select the dates that you want your teams to play, we recommend taking a rest day in between matches.
– Team/group matches are 30 minutes a side (“playing time”) with a strategy/water break after 15 minutes.
– 10 reserves are allowed for each team. “Rolling subs” with unlimited number of times
– No goal kicks during the tournament
– In the case that a learner is in Grade 11 in 2026, but already 18 years old (turning 19 in 2027) they can still participate in the tournament.
– R380 entry fee per player

– 2 x games, on the 5th of December
– 25 players per match
– Schools can enter one or two teams
– Barefoot rugby
– No scores will be kept
– Running Subs
– 20min matches, with a water break.
– R200 entry fee per player
U/12
Each team will play 3-5 games
– Games will be 30 minutes, 15 minutes a side.
– Entry fee is R380 per player
– Game days are 7 & 8 December 2026
– No grade 7’s are allowed to play in the u/12 tournament.
u/12’s must be grade 5 or 6 in 2026.
A High School Product for the recruited gr8’s of 2027
- Date: Saturday, 5 December 2026
- Entry fee: R200 per player
- Matches: Two matches per team
