GAME STRUCTURE
- Match duration: u.18 – 4 quarters of 12 minutes (rest between quarters – 2min ,5min ,2min)
- Toss-up: NO formal toss-up before the start of the games. The team whose name is first on the program sits on the lefthand side of the astro (facing the rugbyfield) and starts with the ball.
- Running clock: There will be a running clock – meaning no time will be stopped for injury, blood, penalty stroke or infringement cards – this should be dealt with as quickly as possible.
- Players: There are no restrictions on the number of players per team, it is at the discretion of the coach who they want to play.
- There will be no team placements during this tournament. No scores will be calculated after each game to determine a winner – thus there will not be any prizes.
- Playing kit: If the two teams kit colours clash the team whose name is second on the program should wear bibs. Please supply your own.
- Each team to bring their own umpire. We have a list of umpires that you can contact if you need an umpire.
