Old Boys golf has become such a popular fixture to share in the high school spirit. This competition will have old boys teams from different schools playing against each other. A team must consist of 6 players playing on a better ball format on the handicap system against each other.

As with the school boys, all players need to have a formal handicap.

The 2 best betterball scores will be taken from the 4 available to determine the team’s score. These scores will be added together over the 2 days to determine the team’s official score after 2 days (so, if you only have 4 players you can still take part in the event).

Two balls per school will play against the other teams. So, what we will have are internal battles where 2 schools play against each other on the day, and all 3 of their better ball scores do count for their internal match, but only the best 2 scores will be taken for the match played against the rest of the field over the 2 days.

Do take note that all members of the Old Boys need to adhere to the following:

1. Must be a former pupil from the specific school.
2. Must be a parent of a current or former pupil from the school.
3. Must be a current or former employee from the school.

Do take note that there may be more than one team per school taking part in the event.

The Old Boys will have a welcome function the evening of the 4^th of August in Wellington, where all the teams will be introduced. The Old boys will also play the Worcester and Boschenmeer courses over the 2 days.
